COVID-19 – Reducing Risk to Patients
We are working hard to reduce the risk of Covid-19 spread by introducing the following guidelines for both patients and therapists.
Waiting Room
We have increased the time between patients to ensure there is only one patient in the clinic at a time.
Hand washing
Patients and therapists must wash their hands before and after treatment, (antibacterial hand soap has been provided for this purpose in the toilet facilities and clinic room).
Sanitising
All contact points in the treatment room, including bench, pillows, credit card machine, arms of chairs etc. will be wiped down with sanitiser spray after each patient. We have removed cotton couch covers and pillow cases and replaced them with plastic wipeable surfaces.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We are providing PPE for both patients and practitioners. This includes the provision of UK medical grade disposable face masks, plastic aprons, and gloves.
Payments
Card payments only, please.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE CLINIC IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS:
High temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature).
New, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).
Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
