Osteopathy Treatment for Newborns
Some babies experience physical tension following long labours, assisted deliveries or caesarean birth. This may show up as feeding difficulty, unsettled behaviour, head preference or sleep disruption.
Kate has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in paediatric osteopathy, including advanced study in infant feeding difficulties, birth strain, primitive reflexes and pregnancy care.
A Gentle Treatment ApproachÂ
Treatment is very gentle and tailored to each baby. Many techniques involve light, subtle contact.
Kate works alongside midwives, health visitors, lactation consultants and G.P.s where appropriate.
